I found words as the best way for me to weave stories into the real world and bring the fantastic to life. I’d also like to say I was passionate about writing all my life, but I probably only began writing when I realized that I couldn’t do anything else to convey these stories I liked to tell. This came from years of daydreaming my way through the slow hours of class and work (although don’t tell my boss that). Ĭonstance: Well, I’ve liked to tell a good story my entire life. Hopefully I’ve achieved this as current reviews say the story is gripping and takes surprising twists and turns.ĮJ: If your book(s) were being made into a movie, who would you cast for the leading roles? Why? I try to back my characters into impossible situations or give them difficult dilemmas to deal with, making the story more unpredictable. The story begins in gritty reality but slowly descends into horror, romance and adventure. Shalini: Hidden follows the lives of Madison and Alexandre, appealing to both a male and female audience. Shalini: The power to heal myself and others would be the ultimate supernatural talent.ĮJ: Tell us why readers will enjoy your new release.

Also, you can have great fun with it!ĮJ: If you could be any paranormal or have any one supernatural talent, what would it be? Why? You can visit impossibly dark and sinister places, or you can paint images of exquisite otherworldly beauty. There’s a special kind of glamour and romance to the paranormal genre. Also, it’s fun to invent new realities - it gives me more freedom as a writer.

So I write the same type of stories I like to read. I want to escape into someone else’s imagination. Shalini: When I pick up a novel, I always prefer to read something that will transport me far away from everyday reality. I came up with the ending first and worked the rest of the story around it.ĮJ: What brought you to the paranormal genre?
